FORTY pupils from the Cotswold School in Bourton put on their football kit to raise funds for the school's PE department. The players, aged between 11 and 13, played five-a-side for 12 hours and raised £600 for the department. The referees on the day were sixth form students working towards their Community Sports Leader Awards and competition organiser Derek Thomas said: "It was a great success, although by the end of the day there were some very tired players." more...
